This afternoon/evening we went to a wedding reception in Pasadena. It was the first adult function we have been to in five years (not counting going out for lunch/dinner with friends). It was quite nice having adult conversations, not having screaming/demanding kids around, able to eat food in one hit, and most of all wine and more wine.
I was a bit buzzed, probably due to the fact that I have not had much alcohol intake for a long long time, my tolerance level has dropped.
Tomorrow we get to sleep in. Kids are staying overnight at parents'. Then hoepfully we will finish painting the remaining stairway and A's room.
