Lets see...there is always those wonderful beings called "grandparents"
and it might be a good idea to plan the week out now. I'd go get a video game he can learn by himself for the "desperate" hours of Tuesday morning. ;)
Does JE like things like pictures? If he doesn't already have one, an inexpensive camera, either digital OR the disposable film kind (though my girls do not wait very patiently for the film to come back to costco) for him to learn. It might be fun for him to take pictures of his week to show everyone. I still have a picture we made into a poster from one spring break a million years back when t1 was 8.

I can see the same misery come my way the week after yours. eek! and I don't even have the luxury of my hubby taking off half the week, like John is! So at least u only have to worry about 2 days. Can't be that bad, can it?
Actually I'm bitching for no reason. We do have the week planned out, sort of. :) Lots of day trips to zoo and other fun place. But it doesn't matter how fun the day, he is still gonna nag. I just know it.
