In two days, we will be spending a week on this ship. I can not wait!

Smart boy

Part of JE's homework, usually on Monday is to make sentences with the words of week. One of the words for this week is "always". He made the following sentence: My Mom is always right. HAHAH. That is my boy, and you better remember it.

Guess what else I did last night? I actually voted for American Idol. I never even watched much until this season and I voted for the first time. The shame!

Me: How can you think when you just sit there and eat?

JE (my son): I need brain food.

Today was the first day I ventured out on my own after a month cooped indoor. On the way to drop off JE at school, I could not help but admire how beautiful the weather was, especially at eight in the morning, when the heat has not come down yet. I also could not believe how expensive the gas is. I must be out of touch.

I still can not do too much, especially heavy lifting. At least I am able to get around by myself. It felt so good to finally be able to get out the house.
