Ahhh, I'm blind!
I was checking email. Then Amber came along and pressed something on my keyboard. Now all my email are highlighted and they are ORANGE! What just happened? Someone come and take away the orange, I can not see a thing.

Drooling
I'm on Aussie Products trying to see if they sell Nerada tea. I'm not usually a tea drinker, but when my MIL was here last year, she brought over those tea from the land down under. I was drinking tea every day while she was here. I was very sad the box of tea she brought over was gone when it was time for her to leave.

Anyway, Aussie Products do indeed sell those tea. While I was on that site, I saw the Aussie meat pie. But they only have two flavors. Either way I'm drooling and craving for it. I either need to shell out the big bucks to buy a dozen, or we need to get ourseleves down to Venice Beach to have some. Because this craving isn't going away until I have myself some meat pies.

PS: I wonder if my MIL is able to sneak some meat pies in when she's here this Sept. :)

What to do, what to do?
Next week will be the first ever spring break for my first born. OMG, what am I going to do? I can hear the naggings already.

"I am bored."
"Play with me."
"I want to go to chuck e cheese."
"I'm hungry."
"I want to go to (friend's name)'s house."
"I am bored."

Someone help me.

On a date
Hubby and I went on an afternoon date today.

Went to see "V for Vendetta"*. It was really good, we both really like it. I highly recommend it.

Since the movie theatre was in the mall, John went to play at Dave and Busters while I did a bit of shopping. We met up an hour later for some yummy BBQ at Wood Ranch.

We are meeting some friends for brunch tomorrow. Haven't seen some of them for a while, really looking forward to it.

*Trailers we saw:
Scary Movie 4. It looked really funny, I certainly was laughing while watching it, still I will reserve it for DVD viewing anyway.
Take the Lead: Whatever. Another teacher tries to teach poor kids in crappy neighborhood, gives them hope movie. I will pass, even though Antonio Banderas is in it.
Poseidon: Another re-make. Modern day cruise ship is capsized from a colossal tidal wave, everyone has to fend for themselves. Again, DVD, maybe.
I think there were some more, but I can't remember them.

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things about ME

1. Dropped the car this morning to have it fixed. It's been making     grinding noises whenever I stepped on the break.
2. Went to my ear appointment after dropping the boy off at school.
3. Apparently I have Perforated Eardrum, in English it means I have a     hole in my left ear.
4. Most likely I need surgery to have it fixed.
5. Even though it is an outpaitient surgery, still takes two weeks to     have the ear fully healed.
6. Got the call from the car place, the breaks are all f-uped.
7. It's going to cost us lots of money to have everything fixed. Grrrr.
8. Today was the last day for the boy's school's sciense weekly meet.
9. Took the boy and two of his friends to play in the park after     school.
10. Finally home. Haven't been home since leaving at 9 this morning.
11. Did tons of dishes that are piling up in the sink.
12. The house is still a mess.
13. The weather here is crazy. For the past few days, it was       freezing. I had to wear turtleneck and jacket. Now I can almost       get away with shorts.

What are you looking at?

I turned around to talk to John for a minute. When I turned back, she has climbed onto the chair, all by herself.

Still sleeping?
My little man is sick. He stayed at my parents' last night, since his school had Grandparents' day today, just easier for them to drop him off and spend an hour with him at 8:25 in the morning. I am not getting up that early if I can help it. :)

Anyway, the little man vomited all over the bed last night, and when he got into their car this morning. So no school for him today, and no Grandparents' day either. My parents were a little disappointed, but what can you do?

I picked him up and he has been sleeping ever since this morning, except getting up once at 2 and once at 6. He looked a lot better when he got up the second time, so I made him to do some of his homework. Then half way through, he was all oh my stomach hurt. Fine kiddo, whatever you say. I will let you slide and you can go back to bed.

Freakish weather
It was so cold yesterday, around 40F I think. I know it isn't that cold comparing to some parts of the country. But it was cold when Baltimore was having 80F weather. What the heck? Isn't it supposed to the other way around?

I'm ranting
I can not stand people who are not open-minded about things. I guess living in Los Angeles and interacting with all kinds of races really opens up your mind about other culture, food, and just things in general. I have learned never to judge other people.

I also can not stand people who do not reply email. I do not except them to reply me with an essay, it could be just a simple "Ok, I got it" or "Thanks". But nope I never get any of those replies either. Those people need to learn some internet etiquette. Why do they even bother to have an email account when they don't bother to reply any? Rude I tell you. But whatever, I will just stop emailing them then. Don't get upset when you don't get an update.

I'm in a pissy mood tonight over something I read.

Smarter than the President
I saw this T-shirt from CafePress. I so want to get it for A. And this for JE.

Another 24 post (spoiler included)
Ok Prism, cover your ears, or eyes.

Last night I watched the 2-hour "24". Damn!! It was sooooo good. I'm totally hooked.

But now I can understand why Xinh is icked at Jack's daughter. It was only the second time I watched the show and I'm icked at her already.

Start spoiler/rant:
I guess Jack was supposed to be dead, but somehow it was staged. He's back full force and he didn't tell his daughter about it. He came back and all apologitic and tried to explain to her what happened and daughter was pissed that he didnt trust her, blah blah blah. Even though he kept telling her that the reason he didnt want her to know was to protect her, since 2 of people who helped him to stage his death were dead already. But the bitch just would not listen and gave him the cold shoulder. Oh why oh why they didn't kill her off during last night's nerve gas attack.
Also let me just say that a lot of people died in the agency during the attack.

End spoiler/rant.
