Today Amber turned one. I can't believe it. How time flies!
She's getting really big, is able to take small steps by holding onto the edge of the coffee table, sofa, etc. It won't be long that the good ole days are over. HAH.
We had a small party for her, all relatives, plus her Godmother. It was fun, caught up with cousins, aunts and uncles. We usually have birthday party around lunch time, but for her it was in the late afternoon, consider her nap is usually from 1-3pm. I don't think it would have gone well if the party was during her nap time, we would have had one cranky baby on our hand. She got lots of cute clothes and money. The best gifts of all were from her cousin E., Little Tykes Discovers Sounds Kitchen and Little Tykes Melody Beads™ Piano. She started playing with them the moment she laid her hands on them.
